Non GMO declaration

All vegetable varieties currently brought onto the market in EAME by S&G are the result of traditional processing methods, which do not involve the use of genetic modification techniques that lead to genetically modified organisms as defined in Directive 2001/18/EC on the deliberate release into the environment of genetically modified organisms.

The methods used to develop and maintain the aforementioned varieties are intended to achieve high standards of varietal purity and to exclude the presence of deviant plants, including genetically modified organisms.

Seed production takes place in compliance with current statutory requirements regarding the sale of varieties and rules for seed production, including the prescribed isolation distances. Nevertheless, the risk of unforeseen infection or cross-contamination in seed propagation areas - however unlikely it may be - cannot be eliminated entirely.
